God has given to us a clear calling as missionaries but also specific goals to be reached under the umbrella of ‘C.C. Missions Reaching Out To Belize‘.

Our short-term goals include: 1) provide furlough relief to missionary pastors; 2) provide pastors and churches with resource materials; 3) provide biblical training to pastors and churches such as IBS (Inductive Bible Study) Biblical Counseling Training, Marriage Counseling Training, New Believers Training, etc.; 4) provide low cost yet high yield short-term mission opportunities for state-side churches (July 2008 - C.C. Monterey Bay will be our first); 5) provide mission teams to both Calvary and Belizean churches for both evangelistic and building projects and a number of other ministry needs (in a hopefully short period of time, bring on staff a director of short-term missions); 6) provide Belizean pastors with Bible training & evangelism tools (such as ‘The Jesus Film‘); 7) provide retreat facilities for anyone who wants to come down to ‘get away’ and ‘get’ with God; 8) locate & purchase land to build short-term mission team lodging, eating, and meeting facilities (some early teams/construction projects).

Our long-term goals include: 1) help prospective missionaries to come to Belize for training to come along side of existing churches or start new C.C. church plants; 2) start new Calvary Chapel church plants throughout Belize; 3) lay the ground work for a C.C. School of Ministry and a C.C. Extension Bible College; 4) develop and establish ministry helps for unwed mothers and abused or orphaned children (C.C. orphanage?)

‘C.C. Reaching Out To Belize’ ultimate goal and purpose through both our short-term and long-term goals is to 1) provide the people of Belize with a clear and biblical presentation of the gospel and 2) provide ‘verse by verse’ expository teaching of God’s Word through C.C. church plants.

Obviously, this vision and these goals cannot be met by Debie and myself alone. It will require others to ‘come along side’ of ‘Calvary Chapel Missions Reaching Out To Belize’ with their time- encouragement- prayer & financial support.
